I first got into welding because my dad was a welder so I started at a young age.  I wanted to become a welder because I enjoy the freedom that being a welder gives me, and it's great money!  I have 23 years of experience welding stick, mig, tig, hot tap work and most of it being fabrication.  In my freetime I enjoy fishing, riding ATV’s and spending time with family.  The thing I enjoy most about teaching here at Western Welding Academy is helping these students become better welders and better people in general.  The unique thing about Western Welding Academy compared to other welding schools is you get in 8 hours of actual welding a day.  Other schools don’t get nearly as much welding time as us.
