Born and raised in Wyoming, I started welding at age 7. I grew up around welding. That's what inspired me to pursue this career. I welded in high school, and after high school I attended the Certified Welding Trade School in Casper, Wyoming. I currently have 30 years of welding experience and have experience welding on boilers, pipeline, structural steel, mining equipment, and draglines. The best part about working at Western Welding Academy is seeing the ”Ah-ha” factor once a student understands. I get gratification when a concept “clicks” for the student and by sharing my knowledge within the industry.
Western Welding Academy is the only pipe welding school in the country that is solely owned and operated by real pipeline/pipe welders. At WWA we have the most elite, highest skilled welders in the world teaching students how to weld pipe.
